- Vault-local operations
- Indexes, folder pins, saved search phrases, extracted passages, PDF pages, and media sessions stay within the device. Readvault provides no cloud processing account.
- Storage authorization
- All files access allows the app to fulfill its whole-device discovery and management function. Any deletion is preceded by an explicit user confirmation.
- Optional APK opening
- A package chosen by the user is staged in private cache and supplied read-only to Android's installer. The system remains responsible for displaying and applying the install decision.
- External data use
- No ad SDK, analytics package, telemetry service, remote converter, or automatic upload exists in this version. The app does not sell personal information.
- Stored records
- Folder pins and phrase history are held in a private SQLite database until removed or app data is cleared. Temporary copies belong to the cache.
